Perricone MD products were introduced as the best. After all, they come from Dr Perricone, who we all know from the Oprah show and we all believe in to some degree. His products can be found through multiple third party retailers as well as of course through his own site. But from what I’ve seen, they’re not that great, his products in general I mean, including those for acne unfortunately.

I mean I’d imagine he’d have a handle on what he was doing, all things considered. But I was disappointed to see that in his treatments in general, he uses only the most common of ingredients. They are nothing special at all, and they don’t work more effectively than other products that don’t come from that name and are far more affordable. But of course people have to buy Perricone products without really thinking about it, because Dr Perricone just must be great, why would we have reason to doubt him.

All in all, I think names mean so little, even though they’re supposed to mean more. All in all, I’d say don’t buy brand name products like that, because you are ultimately paying for the namesake and only that.
